Forum Rules, pleae read carefully
Virtual Tuning Rules
-Stealing Parts:
Stealing parts from another member's chop is a SERIOUS offense that will not be tolerated. A stolen part is a part which has been copied off another chop. Unless the source image can be provided, the user is guilty until proven innocent. This is perhaps the most serious rule of them all. Breaking this rule will result in a warning then a ban.
-Cheating:
"Cheating" in virtual tuning involves the member posting a different base image than they actually used, to make it appear as if they had done more work than they actually did. For example, a user could find a Car and Model picture of a Mitsubishi Evo, change a few details, then post it on PSU with a completely different donor image. This is deceptive and wrong. Users caught "cheating" will be warned and their thread will be locked. Cheating is nearly as severe as stealing parts.
Promotion Rules
Members may be promoted my admins when the admins feel that the member deserves it, not only chopping ability is taken into consideration, but also their attitude on the forum. All choppers must start posting in novice section when they join.
Post/Thread Rules:
-No images with a width that exceeds 800px please, use thumbnails for larger sizes.
- No talking about piracy, downloading or anything which undermines copyright laws. This will result in an instant ban.
- No posting of any pornographic images. This will not be tolerated and you will be instantly banned.
- Please limit use of "text talk" (see virtual tuning shorthand threadfor exceptions). We have some foreign members who won't understand what it means as well as some native ones too, it can also be annoying at times.
- No speaking in foreign languages in posts. It's pointless. This is an English forum, speak English.
- No double posting, it won't be tolerated (i.e. posting two comments in succession)
- No abuse towards other members, no racism, and no excessive swearing or flaming.
If these rules are broken, you will receive a warning or a ban from a moderator/admin unless stated otherwise in the rules.
Remember, the rules are to keep the forum a friendly place. Have fun and enjoy your stay.
